Chess Academy With 2007, DAV Public School completes its 25th year of fruitful existence in Hyderabad. Our hard won reputation and the moments of triumph of our children are ample reward for the DAV family of teachers, parents and principal. We look forward to a future of continued devotion to the cause of true education. OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AT Our students won plaudits for their school both at the National and District levels. Out of a total of 10 projects selected at the National Children's Science Congress from entries by schools of different districts, 4 projects belonged to a group of budding scientists of DAV Safilguda. They qualified for the state level competitions held in November out of which 2 projects were selected for the Nationals. This is a hat trick by our Science teams as they have won at the district level for the third consecutive year going on to win at the Nationals too. Details of the various accomplishments of Science school team are as follows:
1. Rohit Binjrajka - Class XII: His project on "Application of Natural Dyes on Plastics" has won laurels both at the Regional level in CBSE Intel Science Exhibition as well as at international forums. He is also in the process of receiving a patent letter from the patent office for his project. 2. Kadambari Sridhar Class XII: Won the Best Category Award with Rs. 3000/- for her project "Bio pesticides - A Boon to Agriculture at National CBSE Science Fair held at Delhi. She was also selected for Indian Science Congress National Fair, held at Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University from 2nd - 6th January 2006. 3. T Badrinath Class IX: Project (Automatic water tank level indicator) was displayed at National level National Children Science Congress, held at Bhuvaneswar on 27th -31st December 2005. 5. Nikitha and Padmaja Class VII: Project for the National Green Corps on "Recycling of waste paper" was displayed at Indian Science Congress 2006 appreciated by our president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and selected as The Best Project.
